Chinedu Ikedieze, commonly known as Aki, a prominent Nollywood actor, has turned to social media to advise fans not to ask for money in his direct message (DM).
In a popular video uploaded on his Instagram page, the 45-year-old actor issued the warning.
In the video, he expresses his rage, saying that individuals have turned his DM into an industrial bank.
“Guys,” said Aki. I’m vexing. I’m not pleased. This is out of control. When I open my DM, all I see is oga, bros, please. How do you get my DM to Bank of Industry?
“You people beg as if we don’t have any responsibilities.” If I continue to share the money in this manner, it will come to an end. Consider someone pleading with me for $35,000 (about N27 million). Another was asking for $12,000 because he wants to build a shop.
“You guys have made it appear as if we packed this money somewhere, and it is imperative that we cater to your needs.” No! It is not required. Everyone is feeling the effects of the economic downturn.”
